Banana Chocolate Shake

I make banana milkshake often, adding chocolate to it was a first. The combination banana chocolate shake was awesome – it not only tasted great but, with the chocolate tint, made itself a lot more visually attractive.

I bet all my fruit milkshakes are going to be chocolate-y for the next few weeks.


You Need:

  • Banana – 1 ripe
  • Milk – 1.5 glasses
  • Chocolate syrup (I use Hershey’s) – 2 tablespoons
  • Ice cubes – 6

[makes 2 glasses]

How To:

In the food processor, blend the banana with half a glass of chilled milk till fully blended.

Top up with the remaining milk, about 1.5 tablespoons of chocolate syrup, ice cubes and blend for another minute.

Drizzle some chocolate syrup around the inside surface of each glass. Gently pour banana chocolate shake.

Serve immediately. 



Want a little indulgence? Top each glass with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream and squeeze extra chocolate syrup over it.

Change measurements as you wish. More syrup => stronger chocolate flavor + a sweeter flavor.
