Orange Carrot Juice

Get your vitamin boost with freshly squeezed orange carrot juice. Carrots are an excellent source of beta-carotene, a powerful antioxidant. Oranges are loaded with vitamin C. Together, oranges and carrots combine to give a powerful health drink.

You Need:

[Per serving]

  • Carrot – 1 fat
  • Oranges – 2
  • Honey – to taste, optional

How To Make Orange Carrot Juice:

Scrape the carrots. Peel the oranges. You need not deseed the oranges if using a good quality juicer, else gently pry open the orange segment and pry out the seeds to discard.

Put carrots and oranges through the juicer funnel.

In the jar where fresh juice gets collected, add honey if you like it sweeter. Stir the honey well into the fresh juice.

To Serve:

Pour orange carrot juice into a tall glass. Add ice cubes to chill. Serve immediately.

(Makes one big serving. Increase the quantities proportionally for more.)
